Remembers4u
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Remembers4u handles information when you use the Remembers4u mobile app and website. Turkish summary: Bu sayfa Remembers4u uygulamasında hangi verilerin kullanıldığını ve verilerinizi nasıl silebileceğinizi açıklar.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, Firebase user ID, account creation time, and authentication status. Passwords are processed by Firebase Authentication; Remembers4u does not store your raw password.
- Reminder information: reminder titles, descriptions, notes, schedules, repeat rules, priority, completion status, snooze status, and reminder preferences that you enter in the app.
- Identifiers and notification information: Firebase user ID, Firebase Installation ID, Apple Push Notification service (APNs) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration token, notification permission state, delivery method, reminder delivery attempts, and acknowledgement events such as done, snooze, cancelled, or missed.
- Technical information: device and operating-system information, app version, language, time zone, and IP address. Firebase Authentication and Cloud Functions may process IP addresses temporarily to provide security, prevent abuse, and execute requested operations.
- Local app settings: onboarding state, theme, language, notification preferences, and widget configuration stored on your device.
- Support information: messages you send to support, including your email address and the details you choose to include.
Remembers4u does not collect your contacts, phone call history, SMS content, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or payment card data.
How we use information
- To create and manage your account.
- To save, synchronize, schedule, send, retry, and display reminders.
- To provide push notifications, call-style reminder screens, and home-screen widget data.
- To respond to support, safety, or account deletion requests.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
Data retention
Account, reminder, device-registration, and delivery records remain in our live systems while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account in the app, these records and your Firebase Authentication account are removed from our live application database. Service-provider backups and security records may remain for a limited period; Firebase states that deleted Authentication data is removed from its live and backup systems within 180 days. Support correspondence may be retained as needed to resolve the request and meet legal or security obligations.
Permissions
- Notifications: used to send reminder alerts and action buttons.
- Full-screen intent, foreground service, wake lock, exact alarm, and boot completed on Android: used so important reminders can appear at the scheduled time.
- Call-style permissions on Android: used for incoming-call-style reminder screens. Remembers4u does not read call logs or contacts.
Your choices and deletion
You can update or delete reminders, turn off notifications or call-style reminders, and log out in the app. You can permanently delete your account and associated data directly from Settings > Delete Account. If you can no longer access the app, use the Remembers4u account deletion page to contact support.
Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or backup integrity, and will be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
Security
We use Firebase infrastructure, access controls, and encrypted transport to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Remembers4u is intended for general productivity use and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
